Quality control
Our nursery is following the quality norms of ISO 9001-2008. We have a proper quality control system to ensure the international standards for our plants. Some of our guidelines to ensure the quality are as given below:
- High quality seed are collected from recommended places and from selected mother plants
- Adopting better methods for germination. We are using processed coir pith to germinate seeds to ensure the maximum germination and save all the roots of the seeds.
- We are using modern automated machinery system to process coir pith. The raw material or medium used for Root trainer plants is coir pith. Raw coir pith should be washed properly to remove the Tannin, Lignin and other phenolic content of the coir pith. The Ph. and Ec ratio is also very important. These elements will affect the growth of theroots and retard the spreading of lateral roots of the plant. So we installed a modern machinery system to remove these elements in our nursery and maintain the neutral Ph and Ec.
- We prepared porting media with required percentage of organic matter is used in our nursery. The porting media is kept under in separate area in required temperature for the easy growth of microbial factors.
- U.V Stabilized poly bags and Root Trainers are used in our nursery which helps the customers to take plants without any damage of root core of the plant.
- The plants have been selected for sale for the expert team and arrange the plants in the loading area to assure the quantity and quality of the plants once again before loading.
- We have a unique formula to the selection of healthy germinated seeds. Unhealthy germinated seeds would be avoided.
- Our nursery is facilitated with more than 250000 sq feet area of poly house & green house for initial growth and resistant from diseases. The plants growing under green houseensures uniform growth.
- Selection of vigor & healthy plants for budding by sorting and grading.
- We have well maintained Mother Plant nurseries for each clone. Proper pruning and maintenance are very important for the better yield. In our nursery we are maintaining more than 50 acres of Mother plants of different types of plants
- Collection of high quality scions from healthy bud woods from bud wood nursery have been done by an expert team.
- Better method of Young budding which was invented by us is being practiced by experts using special knife.
- We are maintaining a schedule and chart for the systematic application of manures & chemicals
- Plant protection, pest control & fungal control can be done easily by the help of Green house, modern mechanical sprays and mechanical fertigation systems.
- Expert team for sorting and grading of matured and quality plants which are being ready for sale.
- Adopting better loading and transporting system to avoid damage in transportation. We have modified our vehicles as two tire and tree tier racked and covered vehicles to transport plants safely all over India.
- We have developed special packing cases to transport Root trainer plants to distant places/courtiers without losing the appearance or quality of the plants.
- Our customer care and after sale service is unique. Such services will help the customers to maintain the cultivation practices properly.
- Our nursery is located in different places where production centers are at Attappadi and Sreekrshnapuram. Sales centers as well as production centers are at Mannarkkad and Nilamur. Sales out lets are working different parts of Kerala. So we can easily control the quality under different supervisions under one management. Also all our nurseries are well equipped with trained labors and office staff.
- Expert staff for safe loading of plants and separate wing for sending plants by courier and air cargo. Dispatch and Purchase as well as production is controlled by separate division.
